Meet the Team

D.D.S., M.S.D.

Dr. Matthew Tomala

Dr. Tomala is a graduate of Michigan State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He was then awarded a military scholarship to attend the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Following graduation he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in the United States Air Force at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi. He completed his tour of duty as a general dentist at Yakota Air Force Base in Japan.

After returning to the states, Dr. Tomala completed his postgraduate training in Endodontics at the University of Washington where he also earned his Master of Science degree in Dentistry.

He continues his close association with the University of Washington by teaching classes as an affiliate assistant faculty member within the School of Endodontics.

Dr. Tomala is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, the Washington State Association of Endodontics, the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, and the King County Dental Society.

In his leisure time, Dr. Tomala enjoys spending time with this family as well as outdoor pursuits. He especially enjoys cycling, and snowboarding.

Linna

Office Manager

Linna has been with our practice since 2013. Starting her journey off as a dental assistant she eventually transitioned into the role of office manager where she thrives ensuring smooth operations and patient satisfaction. When not in the office you can find Linna spending time with her family on hikes or eating as she believes good food can bring people together.

Yary

Patient Care and Financial Coordinator

Yary has been with our practice since 2019. She is dedicated in making sure every patient is comfortable as soon as they walk through the door. Using her immense knowledge with insurances, Yary strives to maximize patients benefits. On her free time she finds joy traveling to new destinations allowing her to induldge in mouthwatering cuisines and embracing the outdoors with her furry baby Leo.

Stephanie

Lead Dental Assistant

From the breathtaking landscapes of Alaska, Stephanie decided to venture down to the "lower 48" in 2022. She is currently pursuing her education in dental hygiene as it aligns with her passion. Stephanie aspires to provide top notch patient care ensuring each patient is comfortable as soon as they sit in the chair. Off the dental grid you'll either find Stephanie conquering new slopes or cuddled up with her cat, Midnight.

Athena

Dental Assistant

Born and raised in Tacoma, Athena is the newest addition to our team. As a recent high school graduate of 2022, Athena is thrilled to embrace the next chapter of her journey. She is committed to continuously learn and grow ensuring she provides quality care to every single patient. Her passion for arts and crafts fuels her imaginative spirit while her love for pasta ignites her taste buds.

Quanatissia

Dental Assistant

Originally from the sunshine state of Florida Quanatissia moved to Washington in 2021. She recently obtained her dental assistant degree from UEI in 2023 and is enthusiastic about starting her career at our practice. As a dedicated mother, her 4 beautiful children hold a special place in her heart. When she is not tending to patients you can find her reading or meditating by the waterfront.
